Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $101,511 to $119,674 p.a. (HWF4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

Plan, coordinate, manage and evaluate their staff in the provision of delivering a culturally safe experience for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

Focus on the team in the areas of performance management, operational capability and deliverables and training.

Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and health professionals in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service to codesign , plan, implement and review  culturally capable Health Services.

Please note - this is an Identified position - Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Blue Card Checks.
