Looking for meaningful work that fits around your life not the other way around?

At Kanda, we walk alongside local families through tough times. We’re a respected service in the community, and we’re looking for people who genuinely care.
This is family support done differently: flexible, practical and built to last with the time, tools and backing you need to do your best work.

What Makes This Role Stand Out
  • Admin from home – no late nights stuck in the office
  • Flexible scheduling – coordinate with families for times that work
  • Every minute counts – travel, visits, and admin are all paid
  • Company vehicle included – office-to-family travel is part of your shift
  • Work tech supplied – phone and tablet so you can work on the go
  • Smaller caseloads – support 2–3 families at a time
  • Purpose-driven variety – every day brings something new
  • Ongoing development – structured training, mentoring, and growth

What You’ll Do
  • Support children, young people, parents, carers and families at home and in the community
  • Deliver evidence-informed strategies from parenting support to life skills development
  • Connect families with education, employment and community services
  • Collaborate with Child Safety, government and community partners for wraparound care
  • Maintain clear, compliant case documentation

What You’ll Bring
  • Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally
  • Flexibility across mornings, evenings, and sleepover shifts
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor (completed or in progress) in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work, or related field
  • Experience supporting children, young people and families in community-based settings
