About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within Retail Property. Based in Townsville, the role will see you supporting the Centre Manager in overseeing day to day operations of a major shopping centre, while ensuring strong retailer relationships and centre performance.

As the Retail Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the centre’s operational success while working collaboratively with retailers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Duties

• Work with the Centre Manager to prepare, analyse and manage annual and quarterly budgets
• Implement retailer engagement strategies
• Manage debtor processes and reporting
• Assist with lease administration
• Build strong relationships with retailers and external service providers including legal teams and contractors
• Contribute to marketing initiatives, centre branding and promotional activities

Skills and Experience Required

• Prior experience in working in property, preferably in the shopping centre environment
• A proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to manage and balance stakeholder expectations both internally and externally
