Start Your SWEET Career as a Business Trainee

We are seeking a motivated Business Trainee to join our Finance Team on a one-year fixed-term basis. This role is based at Farleigh Mill in Mackay, working within the Business Services team.

You will support the payroll and accounts payable functions, assist with finance-related administrative tasks, and contribute to the transition to S4/Hana. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Learn and support weekly payroll processing using UKG and SAP.
• Liaise with employees and supervisors to resolve payroll and system queries.
• Review and validate invoices 
• Assist the accounts payable team with invoice processing and payment.
• Communicate with procurement and other stakeholders to resolve queries and gather outstanding information.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider finance team.

• Committed to completing a Traineeship and Certificate III in Business Administration.
• Able to plan, organise, and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Eligibility Requirements (minimum)

• Completed Year 12, with passes in English and Maths.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
