Our client is seeking an Experienced Sales/Customer Support Officer to join their welcoming and supportive team based in Townsville QLD. Working within the building supplies industry, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and being part of a fast-paced trade environment.
Monday to Friday
Hours:6am-2pm Monday to Friday
Ongoing role with consistent weekday hours
$34.32ph
Providing friendly, professional face-to-face service at the trade counter
Assisting trade and retail customers with building supplies and product enquiries
Building strong relationships with regular customers
Handling inbound phone calls and responding to customer emails
Accurate order processing and data entry using SAP
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented store environment
Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory control
Assisting the warehouse team with picking and packing of building materials when required
Previous customer service and/or sales experience (experience within building supplies or trade counter environments highly regarded)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fit and healthy - able to lift up to 20kgs
Experience using SAP/EPOS or similar systems, with solid computer skills
Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organised in a busy environment
A proactive, positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Previous Warehouse Experience
Must be able to Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
