At Wonderland Community Services (WCS), we provide exceptional support to youth with disabilities and complex life experiences. We foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for both clients and staff.
We are seeking a Training and Compliance Officer to join our team at Pirates Rest, helping staff develop their skills, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards across our services.
Staff Training
Deliver scheduled in-house training programs for all staff.
Support monthly training plans and collaborate with leadership on workforce development priorities.
Coordinate training in areas including (but not limited too) Medication Administration, First Aid and CPR.
Track and follow up on staff training completion to maintain compliance.
Maintain accurate training records, issue in-house certificates, and source quality external training providers.
Compliance
Monitor and ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and other relevant legislation.
Review and update policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
Conduct internal audits and assist with external audit processes.
Collaborate with leadership to proactively address compliance issues.
Provide compliance guidance and updates to staff, promoting a culture of accountability and quality.

Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant industry or role-specific qualification, or willingness to complete.
Experience in staff training and/or compliance management, preferably in a healthcare, disability, or community services setting.
Experience in disability support, community services, or related human services.
Sound knowledge of Child Safety and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework regulations (desirable).
Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
Part Time, up to 30 hours per week
