Mackay Engineering College is seeking an experienced and motivated Industry Liaison Officer to join our administration team and play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing success and growth of our College.

Who We Are:

Mackay Engineering College is a specialist trade training centre in Mackay that provides vocational education for students in Years 10-12, focusing on pathways into the engineering, manufacturing, automotive and electrical industries.

The college works closely with local schools, industry partners and training providers to deliver hands-on training in industry-standard facilities, helping students develop practical skills and transition from school into further training, apprenticeships or employment.

As a key member of the school's administration team, you will work closely with the Head of College to ensure effective communication with industry, operational administration of student work experience and a range of programs that support student outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Student enrolment and record keeping
  • Organising all work experience for our 220 students.
  • Communication with our six state high schools.
  • Communicating with college trainers.
  • Effective communication with businesses, parents & students.
