About the role:

We are currently seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team in Rockhampton. Our Administration Officer will provide a range of general administrative and reception duties in support of service delivery and Centre Management.

 What will a typical day look like?

  • Answer phone and in person enquiries and liaise with tenants, participants, government departments, members of the public and other stakeholders. 
  • Arrange mail and courier functions 
  • Perform a range of general administrative support duties 
  • Ensure the monitoring, purchasing and maintenance of printing and stationery supplies as required 
  • Facilitate the utilisation of the fleet vehicles, inclusive of cleaning, service and repairs

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certificate III in business/office administration (or related discipline) and experience in a similar position; or
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience and willingness to achieve a Certificate III in the recommended time from enrolment.

Other Requirements:

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
