About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and dependable Administration Assistant to support daily operations in a fast-paced professional environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, works efficiently without supervision, and can also collaborate closely with the Managing Director when required.

Flexible working hours are available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a local Marine Recruitment Agency

  • Manage correspondence, documents and records with accuracy

  • Handle incoming calls with a professional and courteous manner

  • Assist with digital systems, databases and general office technology

  • Support social media and online administrative tasks as required

  • Maintain organised workflows and prioritise tasks effectively


Essential Requirements

  • Must be currently located in the Whitsundays region

  • Current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

  • Previous experience in an administration-based role

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar and spelling

  • Professional phone manner with outstanding telephone etiquette

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience using Microsoft computers & systems

  • Sound understanding of modern technology and social media platforms

  • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills

  • Punctual, reliable and consistently professional

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative

  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working independently and alongside senior management

  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes

  • Strong work ethic — diligent, precise, focused and thorough

  • Personable and professional when dealing with clients and stakeholders

  • Polished, well-presented with excellent personal hygiene

  • Previous experience with ZOHO, Monday.com, Canva, Gmail highly advantageous
