About The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role supports the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting bookkeeping functions, and coordinating supplier, subcontractor and customer account administration. This role suits someone who enjoys working with systems, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting operational finance processes within a project-based environment. What You’ll Be Doing Processing accounts payable and receivable transactionsMaintaining supplier, subcontractor and customer records across company systemsCoordinating supplier onboarding, credit applications and account administrationMaintaining accurate financial records and general ledger dataPerforming bank and financial account reconciliationsProcessing month-end close and reportingMaintaining financial and operational registers Supporting preparation of management reports and financial dataProviding administrative assistance to the Finance Manager What We’re Looking For Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration roleStrong understanding of accounts processes and financial record managementExperience in the fire industry, construction or project-based businesses (highly regarded)High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracyProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesProfessional communication skills and a collaborative approachProfessional approach with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentiallyAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentCertificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, Diploma of Accounting, Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or similar relevant qualification (desirable)Candidates must hold valid Australian working rights If you’re ready to contribute to a respected industry leader and grow within a national business, we’d love to hear from you.
