About the Role

This role is ideal for an Accountant with public practice experience who wants to develop technically while building strong client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs

• Preparation of financial statements and working papers

• BAS and IAS preparation and lodgment

• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work

• Managing ATO correspondence

• Supporting senior accountants and directors

• Building long-term client relationships

• Working with a range of cloud accounting software

About You

You’ll be well-suited to this role if you’re technically strong, organised and client-focused.

You will bring:

• CA or CPA qualified (or actively studying towards completion)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting

• Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements

• Experience preparing financial statements and BAS

• Confidence communicating with clients

• Experience with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting software
